What is a Hall Effect upgrade?
A Hall Effect upgrade replaces the wear-prone potentiometer sticks in your controller with high-precision magnetic TMR sensors. Without mechanical contact there is no wear, which means classic stick drift can no longer occur.
The upgrade delivers noticeably more precise inputs, finer movements, and a smoother aim. In shooters and fast reactions, TMR/Hall Effect sticks make a clear difference. At the same time, precision stays consistent over the long run, with no fade or wear.

The Problem
Why your controller drifts
Most controllers still use potentiometer tech in the analog sticks. With every movement, mechanical friction occurs between the contact surfaces. Over time the material wears down, inputs become imprecise, and the stick starts moving on its own, the so-called stick drift.
The problem affects nearly all standard controllers, including PS5, Xbox, Joy-Con, and Steam Deck. Conventional repairs usually just swap in the same wear-prone parts.

01What is a Hall Effect upgrade?
We replace the original sliding-contact sticks with TMR or Hall Effect sensors. They measure position contact-free via a magnetic field, do not wear out and therefore cannot drift. For PS5 and Xbox standard controllers it costs 50 Euro per pair of sticks, installation included.
02Which controllers are compatible?
Almost all of them: PS5 DualSense, Xbox, Joy-Con and Pro Controller, Steam Deck and custom controllers from SCUF, Aim, Rocket Games, Lux and FTW. For SCUF and other custom controllers the upgrade costs 80 Euro. If you are unsure, send us a photo on WhatsApp.
03How long does a Hall Effect stick last?
Practically indefinitely, because there is no mechanical wear. That is why our drift-free promise applies: if an upgraded stick ever drifts, we repair it for free.
04What is the difference between TMR and Hall Effect?
Both measure via a magnetic field and are drift-free. TMR is the newer generation with slightly higher precision. Both are a clear upgrade over any original stick.
05Can I do this by post?
Yes. You send in the controller, we upgrade it and send it back. Return shipping is €6.90 (AT), €14.90 (DE) or €19.90 (CH). The upgrade takes 1-3 working days plus delivery time.
