02How long does the repair take?
Usually 1-3 working days. A stick upgrade itself takes only about 30 minutes of work, so if you drop it off in Vienna your controller is often ready the same or the next day. For mail-in repairs, allow extra time for delivery.
03What is stick drift?
Your stick sends input even though you are not touching it: your character walks on its own or the camera turns. The cause is the sliding contact inside the original sticks, which wears down over time. Sooner or later it affects almost every DualSense.
04Repair or buy a new controller?
A new DualSense costs around 70 euros and has the same sliding-contact sticks that drift again over time. The TMR / Hall Effect upgrade costs 50 Euro. The upgraded sticks measure position without contact via a magnetic field. No wear means no more drift.
05Can I send my controller by post?
Yes. Pack it well and send it to StickFix, Hyrtlgasse 6/5, 1160 Vienna. You pay for shipping to us; return shipping with tracking is €6.90 (AT), €14.90 (DE) or €19.90 (CH). Message us briefly beforehand so we know your parcel is coming.
